Artist Profile
Delank is an artist duo specialising in composite mixed media, comprising the lead artist and creative director of Upper Studio. With over 20 years of collaboration with some of the world’s most esteemed brands, including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci and Loewe, as well as prestigious institutions such as The National Portrait Gallery, Gagosian, and Frieze Masters.
THE PROCESS
Drawing on their background as digital artists, Delank focuses on abstract art, exploring the dynamic interplay of composition, form, texture, and colour through a variety of analogue and digital processes.
Their primary techniques include painting, etching, and hand printing, which are meticulously drum-scanned in their studio or captured using a PhaseOne camera system. These foundational works are then enhanced through detailed compositing and precise colour grading.
All giclée test prints are produced in-house using a GMG RIP workflow, ensuring exceptional colour accuracy that can be faithfully reproduced worldwide. Final artworks are entrusted to world-leading art printers specialising in giclée printing, multi-layered UV pigment printing, and complex screen printing.

PRINTING AND FRAMING
Open Edition works are printed on German Etching paper, made from 100% alpha cellulose. This exceptional material is characterised by its unique tactile feel and fine, clearly definedi felt structure, offering outstanding print results with a remarkable three-dimensional effect and depth. Frames for these prints are bespoke and made to order.
For Limited Edition and Special Edition prints, Delank employs more unique print processes and bespoke artisan frames, crafted in solid wood or powder-coated aluminium using conservation museum standards. All frames will have either museum grade glass with 99% UV filter or Tru Vue Optium Museum Acryllic.
